Steps to withdraw from your Cleva account to your local bank account

  • Open the Cleva App.

  • Tap the "Transfer" Icon, you’ll find it on your homepage.

  • Select "To Bank"

  • Add or Select a Recipient.

    • If it's your first time, tap "Add New" and enter the recipient’s bank details.

    • If the recipient is already saved, simply select their name from your list.

  • Review & confirm.

  • Double-check all details and tap Continue.

  • Your money will be sent shortly.

Adding a new bank recipient

On the Transfer page, click "Add New" to add a new recipient. You can also go to the "Recipients" menu and click on "Add Recipient". Follow the steps below to add a bank recipient.

  • ₦30 Transfer Fee (NGN → NGN)

    • Applies to all NGN-to-NGN transfers, regardless of amount.

  • ₦50 Stamp Duty

    • Applies to transactions of ₦10,000 and above, including USD to NGN conversions and NGN transfers.
