Why can't I change the email address associated with my Cleva account?

We understand that you may want to change the email address associated with your Cleva account, but this is not something we currently support due to security reasons. To further protect your email and Cleva account, here are some actionable steps:

  1. Create a strong password: Use a complex password that combines upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid using easily guessable information like your name, birthdate, or pet's name.

  2. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA): This adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second form of verification, such as a code sent to your phone, in addition to your password. Many email providers offer 2FA—check your email settings to enable this feature.

  3. Be cautious of phishing attempts: Be wary of suspicious emails claiming to be from Cleva. Never click on links or download attachments from unknown senders. If you receive a suspicious email, report it to Cleva's customer support team. Cleva will NEVER ask you for your PIN or password.

  4. Monitor your email account regularly: Check for unauthorized activity or suspicious messages. If you notice anything unusual, take immediate action.

  5. Keep your device secure: Use antivirus software and keep your device's operating system up to date. Avoid using public Wi-Fi networks for sensitive activities like logging into your email account.
